It’s been one year since a tsunami devastated the two Samoas. I’m reminded of the closeness that we all felt in the days, weeks, and months that followed, and how tragedies sometimes seem to bookend each other, with the Haiti earthquake that followed so soon afterwards. Life is short, sometimes bitter, and sometimes sweet. In between, we’re lucky if we get to make some music, share some food, laughs, and time together.

Thank you to all the artists, friends, and family who gave in large and small ways, to the creation of Teardrop from God. It meant and continues to mean the world to me and many others.

Soifua,
